Judson Services, Inc. has had the privilege of working with John G. Johnson Construction (JGJ) for more than 5 years on a number of challenging projects on two of our senior living campuses. Each of these projects demanded an expert level of coordination between Owner, Architects, Subcontractors and State and Municipal Regulators as all projects do; and JGJ accomplished this extremely well completing projects on time, on budget, and on mission.

At all stages of the projects: pre-construction services, estimating and value engineering, execution, commissioning, punch listing, warranty service, and project accounting and administration, JGJ has been professional, responsive, transparent, and shown us time and again the flexibility and forbearance that it takes to make, and keep, a client satisfied that they are working with the right partner.  More notable, and of equal, if not greater, value to the Owner, was JGJ’s ability to deliver projects, in nearly fully occupied buildings, with great deference to our residents’ well-being and safety, especially during the most trying times in our country’s recent history.

We were introduced to John G. Johnson through several trusted consultants in the market. We began working with JGJ in the in the design phase and all the way pulling through the permit and commencing construction. One of their major strengths is realistic budgeting and scheduling. Collaborative and solution-driven team

We have been particularly pleased by the management approach of JGJ when unforeseen conditions are found and solutions need to be determined by the whole team of contractors and consultants. They are collaborative, while providing numerous possible solutions themselves.

JGJ consistently seeks logical pricing for what we need, negotiating actively with subcontractors and seeking alternative bids when necessary. We feel they actively are looking out for our best interests on expenditures, both to stay within budget and to not overpay even when work is within budget.
