Emerald Alliance XI Project Kicks Off

Emerald Alliance XI Project Kicks Off

September 3, 2019

We are excited to kick off Emerald Alliance XI, a new four-story multi-family housing project in the Brooklyn Centre neighborhood. With CHN Housing Partners as the lead developer/owner and EDEN, Inc. as the property manager/co-owner, this Low-Income Housing Tax Credit project will provide permanent supportive housing to the chronically homeless.

With a Notice to Proceed, excavation is set to begin at the site later this week. The new 58,000 SF four-story wood-framed building, designed by Hiti, DiFrancesco and Siebold, Inc., will offer 71 units to serve the community.

According to CHN, "The site was chosen because of Brooklyn Centre’s access to one of the region’s main trauma centers (MetroHealth), local transportation, shopping centers, and community parks—including Brookside reservation and the Metroparks Zoo. Residents can take advantage of these community services while accessing the building’s on-site supportive services."

John G. Johnson Construction is proud to serve as the Construction Manager on this project that will support the community and help end chronic homelessness.
