City of Cleveland Dedicates New Ozell A. Dobbins, Sr. Maintenance Facility
October 23, 2017
Congratulations to the City of Cleveland on the dedication of the newly opened Ozell A. Dobbins Maintenance Facility located on the east side of Cleveland. Mayor Frank Jackson, along with other city officials, dedicated the opening of the new facility to Ozell A. Dobbins, Sr., a longtime civil servant for the city.
John G. Johnson Construction served as the General Contractor on this new 30,000 square foot complex located on 5.4 acres. The energy efficient building can hold over 50 maintenance vehicles and has a 150 vehicle parking lot. The facility also contains a salt dome with the capacity to store over 2,000 tons of salt. Built on an existing brownfield, the site required extensive remediation. The new facility also includes servicing storage, offices, kitchenette, locker rooms, vehicle storage garage and fuel storage tank.
Richard L. Bowen + Associates served as the Architect on this project. For more photos of the Ozell A. Dobbins Maintenance Facility, click here. To view more of our municipal construction project experience, click here.
